EP 5 is a high-viscosity, high-performance, special oil based on natural
esters, developed according to the highest technical standard for use in the
tube industry.
The product has worldwide release of the expander head
manufacturers SMS Meer and Fontijne Grotnes and is recommended by the
manufacturers for the Heusler and Iprolam
expander heads.

EP 5 is a high-viscos for Cold Forming operation like bending or drawing and
for Lubrication of gliding surfaces & guide ways according to CGELP 460.
The
product forms emulsion spontaneously and carries polar additives to prevent
stick slip effect & AW/EP – compounds for excellent tool performance.
Furthermore
it is stable under extreme temperature condition of 50 deg C
Application:

Surfaces and guide ways of Mechanical Expanders under extreme pressure (e.g
machines of Mannesmann Demag / SMS Meer)
